Superintendent's Message

     I am delighted to be part of the Edinburgh Community School Corporation this
school year as your Interim Superintendent while the Board of School Trustees
conducts their search for a new full-time Superintendent. This is my 26 th year as a
school superintendent and it is an honor and privilege this year to be part of the
2024-25 school year as the leader of your school corporation. As a lifelong Johnson
County, Indiana resident I am familiar with the Edinburgh community.
     
     My role as your Interim Superintendent is to continue the many great things
Dr. Ross started during his tenure and oversee the day-to-day operations of the
schools. I look forward to meeting new people and making new friends. There will
be some challenges along the way, and I assure you I am prepared to assist and
help in any way possible.
     
     During my career I have taught science, coached three sports, and served 19
years as a building principal. As Interim Superintendent this year I plan to serve as
coach, mentor, and guide on the side for students, teachers, support staff, Board,
and community as we make progress together toward the vision and goals of the
school corporation. The past decade I have dedicated myself to making a difference
for all Hoosier children one school corporation at a time serving 245 Indiana school
corporations in one capacity or another.
     
     I value and appreciate meaningful relationships and look forward to
strengthening the schools so we can provide better opportunities for all Edinburgh
students. You are encouraged to contact me anytime for any reason, just know I do
not have all the answers, but I am here to help find them. As our paths cross, please
take a moment to introduce yourself. Positive relationships and friendships are
important for the success of our students and our schools. I wish all the Edinburgh
Community School families the very best for this 2024-25 school year.
